The new 2022 Focus Jam² 7.9 e-Bike's purpose is to give riders the ultimate downhill experience and improved uphill performance, in addition to offering a more centred riding position.

Jam2 is incredibly powerful with its solid and dynamic Shimano EP8 engine, which generates 85Nm of support for up to 25 km/h. Adding the integrated and removable 720Wh battery, you got yourself a power-horse!

Thanks to the F.O.L.D. suspension kinematics, this electric mountain bike offers super smooth and reactive riding feel with great bottom-out resistance. Its high-performing downhill capabilities are also due to its linear-progressive suspension curve. M.T.B. enthusiasts who have tried it describe it as "poppy and active feeling", which they are not used to on e-mountain bikes with higher system weights.

Jam² 7.9 also includes a new FLIP CHIP design, making it easy for you to adjust your electric mountain bike's geometry to an even more aggressive riding style. The minor adjustment of the head angle can change your whole setup making it even more downhill-oriented, combining that with its 150mm travel and new F.O.L.D. Kinematics, and you get a mountain beast that is optimised for more progression.

All cable routing is strategically positioned through the stem and into the frame. Not only does it keep everything tidy and great looking, but it also protects the cables from external influences and offer top performance.

The Jam2 7 series has focused on strength and quality with its precise and reliable Shimano gear shifting, C.I.S. cable routing and 4-piston brakes.
