This Focus Jam2 SL 8.7 is from the new breed of lightweight Mountain Bikes. Featuring a carbon frame and a Fazua Ride 60 e-drive with 60 Nm of torque. The JAM² SL 8.7 features two points to adjust your geometry: the head angle and the chainstay length. The steeper head angle of 65,5° results in a more agile handling of the bike, while the slack position of 64,5° gives it a more downhill-oriented setting. Switching the FLIP CHIPs and adjusting your chainstay length from 440 to 447 mm changes the whole set-up of your bike. With longer chainstays, the JAM² SL 8.7 rides more stable and makes steep climbs easier, whereas the short setting leads to a more agile geometry. For the JAM² SL 8.7, we adapted our F.O.L.D. (FOCUS Optimised Linkage Design) and reduced the amount of linkage parts resulting in a significant weight loss. The updated kinematic design reduces brake influences and gives you maximum bike control in every situation.
