The SAM² 6.8 is a full-suspension e-mountain bike built for fearless downhill and gravity-fed trail riding. With a robust 7005-series hydroformed aluminium frame, 165 mm F.O.L.D. suspension, coil shock tuned for downhill, and the powerful Bosch Performance Line CX motor, you’ll conquer rock gardens, jumps, and steep descents with total control. Ready for the biggest terrain and longest sessions.

Experience the raw performance version of FOCUS’ SAM² platform — a bike designed for riders who demand serious downhill capability with the efficiency and range of a modern Bosch-powered e-MTB.

Frame optimised for coil shocks and heavy-duty gravity riding.
Mullet-wheel configuration (29″ front / 27.5″ rear) for roll-over stability and agile handling.
Bosch Performance Line CX motor (85 Nm) with 600 Wh or optional 800 Wh battery upgrade.
Fox 38 Rhythm fork (170 mm) and Fox DHX Performance coil shock (165 mm).
Adjustable geometry — head-angle and chainstay length can be fine-tuned.
Shimano Deore 4-piston brakes with 220 mm rotors.
Approx. 26.5 kg (size M, 600 Wh version, without pedals).

Specifications

Frame: 7005 hydro-formed aluminium with 165 mm F.O.L.D. kinematics, 148×12 mm thru-axle, Post Mount 180 mm. Adjustable head-angle and chainstay length, integrated tool bag (except size S), hidden AirTag/Chipolo mount.

Suspension: Fox 38 Rhythm Grip 3-Position fork (170 mm travel) and Fox DHX Performance Coil shock (350/400/500/600 lbs springs for S/M/L/XL, 165 mm rear travel).

Drive Unit & Battery: Bosch Performance Line CX motor (85 Nm, upgradeable to 100 Nm via Flow App) with Bosch PowerTube 600 Wh battery (optional 800 Wh). Bosch Mini Remote + System Controller interface.

Drivetrain: Shimano Deore 12-speed shifter and derailleur with Shimano CS-M6100 cassette (10-51 T), Shimano CN-M6100 chain, Samox 165 mm cranks, and Samox 36 T chainring.

Cockpit: 800 mm alloy handlebar (30 mm rise), VP Lock-On grips, FOCUS C.I.S. 2.0 stem (40 mm), ACROS ZS56/ZS66 ICR headset with angle adjustment.

Seat & Post: FOCUS Comfort MTB saddle on Post Moderne DP-212 dropper post (125/170/200/200 mm travel by size, 34.9 mm diameter).

Brakes: Shimano Deore BR-M6120 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes with Shimano SM-RT66 220 mm rotors front and rear.

Wheels & Tyres: WTB ST i30 TGH alloy rims (29″ front / 27.5″ rear), Formula DC-611 front hub and DC-648 rear hub. Maxxis Assegai 29×2.5″ (DoubleDown 3C MaxxGrip) front tyre and Maxxis Minion DHR II 27.5×2.5″ (Downhill 3C MaxxGrip) rear tyre.
